Frequently Asked Questions

What are the dates of the 65. National Sängerfest?

Thursday April 30th, through Sunday May 3rd, 2026. Schedule information can be found on the Schedule page.

What Church services are available?

Check out our Church Services page for Downtown San Antonio options!

Is there a Dress Code for the events?
  • For the Friday Empfangskonzert, the Districts decide on what to wear, sometimes it’s your Club’s uniform, sometimes everyone matches. Please reach out to your District leaders to confirm.
  • For the Sängerfest Banquet and Dance, singers don’t typically change after the concert, but for guests we are recommending “dressy casual”. Central Texans tend to dress to be comfortable in the heat and humidity over high-fashion!
  • For the Saturday Hauptkonzert the dress is as follows: Women: long-sleeve white blouse and long black skirt or trousers. Black shoes and nude or black socks. Men: long-sleeve white shirt with black bowtie and black trousers. Black shoes and socks.
  • Dämmerschoppen and Frühschoppen do not have dress codes, and since it will be hot outside, we recommend something comfortable in the heat and humidity, even if you are inside the Halle. You can also wear tracht if it’s breathable.
Where can I rent a wheelchair or scooter?

We recommend the company Cloud Of Goods or Tom’s Wheelchairs for accessability equipment. They will deliver and pick-up to the Crockett and Menger Hotels, and other areas around town including Beethoven Maennerchor.
